The HSE 2-Day Requalification Course is ideal for individuals nearing the expiry of their 3-Day First Aid at Work qualification. It’s tailored for those seeking to renew their certification promptly and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing their ability to manage medical emergencies effectively in various workplace environments.
01. Comprehensive Training Solutions
When you take this course, you’re trained to manage a wide range of first aid situations. Whether it’s an understanding of the legal framework or practical skills surrounding wounds and bleeding, head injuries, or burns and scalds, we ensure that you’re fully equipped for any emergency.
02. Tailored, Hands-On Learning and Assessment
Unlike some training providers, we emphasise hands-on practical learning and comprehensive assessments during this course. This practical approach reinforces theoretical knowledge while ensuring that participants are proficient in essential first aid skills.
03. Assessment Method
The course is continually assessed throughout. On the final day, there is a formal, practical assessment covering Adult Basic Life Support (BLS), Treatment of an Unconscious Casualty, and Treatment of Wounds and Bleeding.
To pass this practical element, candidates must show an understanding of the techniques being assessed and meet pre-defined key areas in each process.
04. Course Duration and Costs
Lasting 2 days, this course offers qualification for three years. The HSE recommends annual refresher training. The course is priced at £180 + VAT per person.
